The euphoria producing kavalactones are concentrated only in the waka (root). The other guys use at least 200-300mm of Lewena (stem) as a 'filler' to maximise profits. The Lewena has zero value, so we put zero Lewena in our Kava to get the maximum kavalactones and highest potency possible!
